continueAgain Niedersachsen Aviation presented the aerospace location Niedersachsen at AERO 2017.
The AERO Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance is the international hotspot for general aviation in Europe. The 25th global show was record-breaking. A total of 707 exhibitors were on board, a full house befitting the 25th anniversary of the show.
The largest general aviation trade show in Europe the AERO is acknowledged as one of the most important in the world. Gliders, ultralights, powered aircraft and business jets are one hand, as are ultralight helicopters, gyrocopters and many suppliers. Electric aircraft demonstrated their power as part of an anniversary air show. In the field of unmanned aviation, drones demonstrated their remote controlled aerobatic skills, showing what they could do over land and water in critical situations.
The joint Niedersachsen booth rightfully served its purpose with its networking character. The high number of interested participants once again confirmed that the popularity and the meaning of general aviation in Niedersachsen is highly regarded.
New contacts and cooperations were built by visitors as well as exhibitors over the four days of the fair. In addition young companies demonstrate high interests for an establishment in Niedersachsen. This could be led back to the excellent funding landscape in Niedersachsen.
Moreover, the excellent support from other companies from Niedersachsen rounded off the exhibition - the biggest exhibit being the new Flywhale, at the Flywhale Aircraft GmbH & Co. booth. A further highlight was presented by AutoGyro with its new gyrocopter MTOsport.
