German Company Aljo joins Boeing supplier network

The aluminium specialist Aluminium-Bau Jonuscheit (Aljo) based in Niedersachsen has signed a supplier-contract with Boeing to produce fuselage components for the Boeing P-84 Poseidon aircraft.

Aljo General Manager Ulf Jonuscheit stated that “the new cooperation with Boeing is a historical milestone for Aljo. Moreover, it marks our entry into the US market with new standards and guidelines. We look forward to this new step and to a long-term, successful and trusting future with Boeing”.

Next to the Aljo General Managers Ulf Jonuscheit and Miriam Rudnitzki, the signing ceremony and the subsequent tour through the Aljo production plant was attended by Michael Haidinger, President of Boeing Germany, Michael Hostetter, Vice President of Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Germany as well as representatives from the state government of Lower Saxony: State Minister for Economic Affairs Bernd Althusmann and State Minister for Science and Culture Björn Thümler.

Niedersachsen Aviation congratulates Aljo to this outstanding success. Participating in the business mission to Seattle organized by Niedersachsen Aviation was one important step for Aljo in the process of joining the Boeing supplier network.
